Union offices

PESHAWAR, Feb 4: The members of Landi Arbab Union Council are facing difficulties in attending meetings as the Nazim and Naib Nazim offices have been established in a Hujra .

Councillors, particularly women, feel reluctant to attend sessions held at a private guest house, said Nusrat Shaheen in a press release issued on Monday.

She complained that the practice was against the rules of business and was depriving them of their right .

She said that it had created a lot of resentment among the women councillors, who felt deprived of making their voice heard .

She added the women councillors would launch protest if the offices were not shifted to a proper building.
