ISLAMABAD, Feb 4: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has allowed the exporters to claim rebate on export of various kinds of made-ups.

The duty drawback would be available to exporters from February 2, 2003, said a customs notification issued on Tuesday.

The rate of duty drawback would be 4.96 per cent of the FOB value on export of three-pass back coated dyed or printed blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 5.18 per cent of the FOB value on export of three-pass back coated bleached blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 5.10 per cent of the FOB value on export of three-pass back coated grey blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends).

The rebate would be allowed at the rate of 4.60 per cent of the FOB value on export of two-pass back-coated dyed or printed blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 4.65 per cent of the FOB value on export of two-pass back-coated bleached blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 4.54 per cent of the FOB value on export of two-pass back-coated grey blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends).

And duty drawback would be 4.74 per cent of the FOB value on export of one-pass back coated dyed or printed blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 4.80 per cent of the FOB value on export of one-pass back coated bleached blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends); 4.67 per cent of the FOB value on export of one-pass back coated grey blended made-ups of polyester staple fibre and cotton fibre (all blends).
