KARACHI: Qazi lays emphasis on unity

KARACHI, Feb 3: Muslims have a lot of talent and abilities to provide leadership to the world, and only Islamic world can provide justice and peace to the world.

This was stated by the chief of Jamat-i-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed while speaking at Pakistan Professionals Convention here on Sunday evening.

Qazi Hussain said the Islamic world is facing great challenges these days and for this unity of Muslims was essential.

Those who also spoke included Secretary General of JI Syed Munawwar Hassan, President, Professional Forum Engr. Saleem Azhar, General Secretary of Pakistan Islami Medical Association Dr. Ahmer Hamid, Asif Kasbati of Chartered Accountants Forum, Prof. Ishaq Mansoori of Tanzeem Asatiza, an IT expert Hamza Mateen, MNA Abdul Sattar Afghani, MPA Hamidullah Younus Barai, General Secretary of Professionals Forum Dr. Tabassum Jafri, Abdul Waheed advocate of Islamic Lawyers Movement.
