Shahbaz’s son leaves for US

LAHORE, Feb 2: Hamza Shahbaz, son of former Punjab chief minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, left here for London en route to the United States on Sunday.

He will travel to New York on Monday after obtaining a visa from the US embassy in London, a spokesman for the Sharif family said.

According to him, the wife and daughters of the PML-N president have also left Jeddah for New York.

Shahbaz Sharif is under treatment at a New York hospital and the Government of Pakistan has allowed his family members in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to go to the US to take care of the ailing leader.
