KARACHI: LLB final results announced

KARACHI, Nov 26: The University of Karachi on Monday announced the results of LLB final year annual examinations 2001.

Huma Ikram Ullah of S.M. Govt Law College, Karachi, secured first position, while Razia Sultana and Ruqiya of the same college bagged second and third positions respectively.

Statistics of the results revealed that 1497 candidates had enrolled for the exams, out of whom 1462 students appeared in the exams and 814 were declared pass. The pass percentage remained 55.68.

KU ADMISSIONS: The Department of Computer Science, University of Karachi, has announced admissions on donors’ seats in BS/MCS/PGD programmes.

A spokesman for the university on Monday said forms would be available at the Silver Jubilee gate on Nov 27 and 28.

The forms will be issued to those candidates who have appeared in the admission test.

MBA: The Department of Business Administration, University of Karachi, has announced the list of successful candidates, who have been selected for interviews for admissions to Bachelor of Business Administration.

The candidates have been asked to report at the Department of Commerce on Dec 8.

HU EXAMS: The Hamdard University has announced the schedule of first professional Bachelor of Eastern Medicine Sciences (BEMS) annual examinations.

Theory exams of Ilmul Tashreeh (Anatomy and Histology) I would be held on Jan 8, exams of Ilmul Tashreeh (Anatomy and Histology) II would be held on Jan 10, Ilmul Afall (Physiology) I would be held on Jan 14, Ilmul Afall Paper II on Jan 16, exams of Hayati Kimya (Biochemistry) on Jan 19, Kulliyat (Principles of Medicine) on Jan 22, Islamiat/Islamic studies, Pakistan Studies and Ethical behaviour on Jan 24 and theory exams of Tareekh-i-Tibb (History of Medicine) would be held on Jan 26.

Practical exams of Ilmul Tashreeh (Anatomy and Histology) would be held on Jan 29, Hayati Kimya (Biochemistry) on Jan 31, Ilmul Afall (Physiology) on Feb 4, while practical exams of Kulliyat (Principles of Medicines) would be held on Feb 6.—Agencies
