GUJRAT, Jan 30: Prominent poets from across the country participated in the All Pakistan Rozan Mushaira which was organized by the Gujrat-based daily Rozan and poet Afzal Raaz here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, poet Ahmad Fraz said he had some old memories associated with Gujrat as he participated in his first mushaira in this very city. On another occasion several years ago, he had been rewarded a prize for his poetry, he said.

Known poet Sultan Rashak, who was the chief guest, said he was surprised to see the galaxy of poets and a sizable number of audience.

A large number of people from all walks of life, including DPO Raja Munawar and MPA Amir Usman Raza, were also present on the occasion.
