MARDAN: Attacks on election candidates and their supporters continued as Awami National Party’s PK-30 candidate Haji Iltaf Gul’s relatives’ car was attacked near Par Hoti area of Mardan, injuring three people including his nephew.

Mardan police said that Iltaf Gul’s nephew Jawad and three of his companions were injured in the attack by unknown gunmen in Par Hoti area of Mardan, but its not clear whether they were on election campaign or not.

ANP Mardan said the workers were on campaign when the came under attack.

However, police say Jawad was travelling with his friends when their vehicle was ambushed near Kacha Sarak area of Par Hoti

The injured were shifted to a local hospital.
