Yousuf tops again

KARACHI, Jan 24: Mamoon Sadiq and Imran Iftikhar assured their place in the Pakistan squad along with Muhammad Yousuf at the end of races held on the third day of “Sail the Gulf” trials at Pakistan Navy Aqautics Club on Friday.

Mammon/Imran confirmed their victory in 470 class by winning races five and six ahead of Muhammad Riaz/Akram Tariq.

In the Laser class despite a strong challenge from Suleman Anjum and Ashfaq Iqbal, Yousuf emerged winner. Mazhar finished second.

The last race of the series will be held on Saturday at 3.00pm.—APP
