KARACHI, Jan 23: A central student advisory committee has been formed at the Karachi University. This was announced by a spokesman for the university on Thursday.

Registrar of the university Dr Abdul Rauf will head the eight-member committee which will work during the absence of Prof Shahid Qureshi who is on leave abroad.

M.Phil admissions: The University of Karachi has announced that admissions forms for M.Phil admissions at the Faculty of Pharmacy would be issued from January 28. The last date for submission of forms is Feb 5.

According to a KU notification, merit lists will be announced on Feb 8 and the last date for the payment of the admission fee is Feb 18.

The classes will commence on March 1 and the examination would be held after summer holidays, added the notification.—APP
