Hasnat’s fine allround show

KARACHI, Jan 22: A brilliant all-round performance by skipper Hasnat Mazhar enabled City School (PAF Chapter) score a thrilling three-run victory over Falconhouse Nazimabad in the Siemens Inter-school cricket tournament at NBP Sports Complex here on Tuesday.

Batting first, City School collected 147 for nine in their allotted 25 overs.

Hasnat hit 55 with the help of six fours while Waqas Gulzar contributed 30 with four boundaries.

Falconhouse, in reply, were restricted to 144 for nine in 25 overs.

Hasnat turned in a superb spell by snapping up four for 25 with his off-spinners to clinch the Man-of-the-Match award.

Slow left-armer Hasan Sajjad and medium-pacer Farhan Zuberi claimed two wickets apiece for 29 and 30 runs, respectively.
