Rehman and Naseer shine

KARACHI, Jan 21: Naseer Khan and Abdul Rehman excelled with the ball to help Quetta skittled out Pishin for 180 in their Cornelius Trophy match at PCB Academy Ground on Tuesday.

Off-spinner Naseer Khan grabbed five for 66 and medium pacer Abdul Rehman snapped up four for 17.

However, Pishin hit back to reduce Quetta to 43 for three in reply.

Sibi’s paceman Shahbaz Bashir and left-arm spinner Mohtashim Ali shared seven wickets between them to dismiss Naseerabad for 165 in their first innings at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.

By close of the play in the three-day match, Sibi reached 126 for four.
