LAHORE, Feb 21: Colony Sugar entered the final of the Bank Alfalah Aibak Polo Cup after winning against Diamond Paints with overall lead of 16-13 here on Thursday.

Colony Sugar had won the first phase of the match of four chukkers 8-6 on Wednesday and edged out them in the second phase 8-7.

For the winning side, Matias Vial Perez and Saqib Khan Khakwani hit three goals each while Hamza Mawaz Khan contributed two goals.

For the losing team, James Harper (4), Raja Samiullah (2) and Mir Shoaib Ahmad (1) were the main scorers.

In the second match of the day, Army/Coke defeated PAF 6-1 ½.

Manuel Crespo (4), Raja Temur (2) scored for the winning side with the losing side’s solitary goal, which had half goal handicap, coming from Ahmed Ali Tiwana in the fourth chukker.—Sports Reporter
