KARACHI, Jan 21: Sindh Chief Secretary K.B. Rind, taking serious notice of the reports of corruption and maladministration in the Board of Revenue, on Tuesday ordered the senior members to ensure proper vigilance of the officers and staff.

He directed strong disciplinary action against unscrupulous officers and staff. “Proper line of action, transparency and honesty must be adopted to ensure sufficient functioning of the revenue department”, he said.

He also stressed the need of courteous behaviour while with dealing clients. The chief secretary said that no one would be allowed to act against the rules and regulations.—PPI
