The beginning of the lawn mania this summer brings with it Ayesha-Somaya by Flitz in a blaze of colours and mute embellishments which soothe the eyes and cater to the design sensibility of the masses with popular cuts and patterns.

Ayesha Sohail and Somaya Adnan joined forces in 2009 to create their signature style which is a combination of elements such as detail, luxury and tailoring. “When it comes to fashion, it’s not just about smart clothing but its all about grooming your personality as a whole,” says the duo. Meanwhile, Flitz launched in 2007, has experience and expertise in the field of designer lawn, prêt wear, fashion footwear and accessories.

Here we have a colour palette encompassing heaven and earth, featuring fluorescent yellow with bright blue, muted white with beige embroidery coupled with black and red detailing along with red, blue and orange prints which denote the popular choice for lawn in 2013. The concept behind the shoot is to encapture the mythical adventures of the elusive and shy garden sprite symbolic of the many mysteries of Mother Nature. — (Text by Irfan Qamar, Photos by Arif Mahmood @ White Star)
