KARACHI, Jan 20: The Passport Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday arrested two persons for sending people to European countries on forged travel documents, and also nabbed a man following the recovery of forged passport.

The Passport Circle officials said they raided a hotel near Cantt Station and recovered seven passports in which the photographs had been replaced. Then the FIA nabbed Mohammad and Waseem, the agents. Faisal Nawaz whose photograph was on the passport was also picked up.

The FIA also nabbed Akhtar Abbas, Anwar Hussain and Mehmood Akhtar, who told the investigators that Haji Khalid, Shafi Khan and Altaf Arain took them to Karachi from different towns in Punjab after receiving Rs500,000 to 700,000 and promised them to get a visa for them for a European country.
