LOS ANGELES: Fun is a double Grammy winner. The pop-rock trio was named best new artist.

The group bested Frank Ocean, who was buzzed to win the award. The band's lead singer Nate Ruess says he didn't expect his group to win best new artist. They were also up against Alabama Shakes, Hunter Hayes and The Lumineers.

Fun.'s "We Are Young" picked up song of the year early Sunday night. They also performed their new single "Carry On."

The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach so far is the leading winner with four awards.

Fun's sophomore album, "Some Nights," is up for album of the year against Ocean, The Black Keys, Jack White and Mumford & Sons.
