ISLAMABAD, Jan 18: The website of the National Assembly of Pakistan has been formally launched and necessary information is now available on this website.

The website provides the relevant information and photographs of the prime minister, speaker, deputy speaker, ministers, state ministers, advisors and members of the National Assembly.

It contains information of the current as well as past assemblies.

The URL of the website is http://www.na.gov.pk and email is assembly@isb.paknet.com.pk.

The website also takes account of the necessary information about the public representatives, comprising their photographs, addresses, contact telephone numbers and party affiliations. This would help the people to keep in touch with their representatives through internet.

The information concerning former governor generals, presidents, prime ministers, speakers, deputy speakers and secretaries can also be accessed.

People can also get information about procedures and functions of the assembly and the committee system on the site. — APP
