ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah said on Wednesday the National Assembly could be dissolved by March 13 or 14.

Talking to journalists at the parliament house, he said the government would try to reach agreement for dissolving the National Assembly and provincial assemblies on the same day. He said the PPP leadership had not yet finalised name of the caretaker prime minister.

He said the government had resolved all issues with coalition partners and strengthened the democratic system in the country.

Referring to creation of new provinces in Punjab, he said it was in line with resolutions adopted by the National Assembly and the Punjab assembly.—APP
