PESHAWAR: Pornographic videos burnt

PESHAWAR, Jan 18: Shopkeepers here on Saturday burnt hundreds of pornographic videos as part of an anti-obscenity drive.

“The drive against obscenity by the MMA government is to cleanse society and to improve people’s character,” Ehsanul Haq, a local leader of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, told a ceremony.

Last month, police in Peshawar burnt confiscated videos.—Reuters
