ATTOCK, Jan 28: The district administration has launched a “cleanliness campaign” at the district and tehsil headquarters hospitals here.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Usman Ahmed Chaudhry told Dawn that cleanliness at the DHQ hospital and five THQ hospitals of Pindigheb, Fatehjang, Hasanabdal, Jand and Hazro was not up to the mark due to various reasons, especially lack of sanitary staff and equipment.

He said he had now directed the tehsil municipal administrations to send teams to the hospitals at least once a week to ensure cleanliness.

In routine, the sanitary staff of the hospitals are responsible to maintain cleanliness in the health canters.—Correspondent
