KARACHI, Jan 28: Two ships carrying crude oil and containers are expected to arrive at the outer ancho age of Karachi Port on Tuesday.

On Monday, five ships including Chem Star, Chemroute Sky, AS Carelia, Hyundai Highness and Cape Flores were berthed at the port.

A total of seven ship sailed out including Hai Wang Xing, Lahore, Al Myros, UAFL Zanzibar, STX Patraikos and Lodestar Genesis.

A cargo volume of 110,721 tons comprising 64,005 tons of import and 46,716 tons of export was handled.

The following ships are expected to arrive on Tuesday: El Gurdabia with crude oil and Kota Gunawan with containers.

Port Qasim KARACHI: Two container ships were berthed, while another two vessels with furnace oil also arrived at the anchorage during the last 24 hours, a PQA press release said on Monday.

Four ships including Cape Flores, Maersk Utah, Maritime Suzana and Feng Hai 32 were busy in loading/offloading containers, canola seed and edible oil.

A cargo throughput of 41,866 tons comprising 28,363 tons of import and 13,503 tons of export was handled.
