ISLAMABAD, Jan 28: In pursuance of Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Act 2012, the Punjab SEZ authority has been constituted, a press release said.

The board includes Chief Minister Punjab, Chairperson Minister of Industries Commerce & Investment, Secretary IC&I, Secretary Finance, Secretary C&W, Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development, Secretary Agriculture, Secretary Planning & development, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, two members to be appointed by the CM (to be notified later), two nominees of BoI (to be notified later), members and Vice Chairman PBIT/CEO PBIT,CEO/Secretary. Acting secretary Board of Investment Sikandar Ahmed Rai welcomed the initiative of the Punjab government.—APP
