LAHORE, Jan 26: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has promised laptops to judicial officers if they manage reconciliation between the litigant parties.

The decision is aimed at encouraging the district judiciary and promotion of reconciliation in cases.

TERMINATION: The LHC chief justice has terminated services of Jalalpur Pirwala Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Husain on charges of corruption and professional misconduct.

The action against the judicial officer was taken under Section 10 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974, said a notification issued on Saturday.

Three AD&SJs Bakht Fakhar Bahzad (Deepalpur), Atiqur Rehman (Jaranwala) and Wajahat Hasan (Pasrur) successfully completed their probation period, said another notification.
