Exchange companies

Published January 25, 2013

KARACHI, Jan 24: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued license to Sadiq Exchange Company, Gujrat and ZeeQue Exchange Company, Lahore to operate as full-fledged exchange companies.

The SBP has cancelled the license of a non-operational exchange company, SIBL Exchange Company, Karachi as the central bank declined to renew the authorisation/license issued to SIBL Exchange Company to operate as an exchange company some time ago.

The SBP has also advised the company to ensure that no business is carried out in the name of the company in future.
