KARACHI, Jan 17: A workshop on statistical methods in research with special reference to applied biology will be organised from January 27 to 29.
An announcement to this effect was made by Chairman of the Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi, Prof Dr M Ishaq on Friday.
He said the moot was being held in collaboration with the Pakistan Scientific and Technological Infor-mation Centre (PASTIC), Islamabad.
Meanwhile the vice-chancellor, University of Karachi, has deputed Dr Muddassar Uddin, Associate Prof in the Department of Statistics, as director admissions, an office order said on Friday.—APP/PPI
