ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: Baitullah Per Dastak written by Shahida Latif was launched at a ceremony here on Monday.

The book was an anthology of Naats, launched under the auspices of Aaina, a non-profit literary and cultural organisation.

Addressing the launching ceremony, the wife of the prime minister, Nusrat Pervez, said such literary and cultural events should be organised to educate the new generation about the rich cultural heritage of the country.

She urged the journalists’ community to play their role while disseminating the information based on facts with authentication and verification.

Lauding the contents of publication, she asked the new generation to study the book, as it is a good addition in country's literature.

A large number of people from different walks of life attended the ceremony. — APP
