KARACHI, Jan 17: Four ships carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Friday.

On Thursday, Amanda, Yu Long Ling, Fowairet, APL Brisbane and SPL Sara were berthed at the port while Jolly and Kota Gemar sailed out.

A cargo volume of 105,135 tons comprising 76,988 tons of import and 28,147 tons export was handled.

The following ships are expected to arrive on Friday: Santa Rosa with steel, Colchester Castle with talc powder, Y M Zenith and Cosco Tanjin with containers.

Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships were berthed while a container ship arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said PQA press release on Thursday.

CMA CGM Wagner, Liberty Eagle, Bhairavi and Gas Esco were busy in loading/offloading containers, wheat, rice, chemicals and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 48,407 tons comprising 29,181 tons of import and 19,226 tons of export was handled.
