LAHORE: The strike announced by the Young Doctor Association’s (YDA) in Lahore entered its second day on Thursday and doctors continued to provide treatment to patients in medical camps set-up outside the hospitals, DawnNews reported.

Managements of main government hospitals did not allow the YDA’s strike to succeed on its first day and only two medical camps of the YDA were witnessed in government hospitals.

Separately, the Punjab government’s departmental action against striking doctors continued and suspension orders have been issued against three doctors till date.

Moreover, the provincial government has also authorised hospital administrations to take action against doctors causing obstruction to daily routine operations.
