LAHORE, Jan 10: Gunmen shot at and killed a member of the public and looted cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands in three incidents in the city on Thursday.

Baghbanpura police said 40-year-old Atif was shot dead by gunmen on resistance in early hours in Salamatpura.

Atif, a medical store employee and father of three, was also robbed of cash and valuables before being killed.

In the another incident, three gunmen broke into Royal Paint on Baidian Road in Defence B police limits and escaped after looting Rs100,000.
