KARACHI: PWs record statements

KARACHI, Jan 15: Two more prosecution witnesses, including an eye-witness, recorded their statements before an anti-terrorism court in the Shaukat Mirza murder case against the chief and two activists of the banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi.

The ATC Judge, Khan Pervaiz Chang, who is holding the trial inside the Central Prison, Karachi, fixed Thursday for the next hearing after the PWs Riyaz (eye-witness) and inspector Ijaz recorded their statement.

Akram Lahori, chief of the defunct sectarian outfit, Mohammed Azam and Ataullah, are being tried for killing the managing director of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and his driver on July 26, 2001.
