Notice to shoe factory

LAHORE, Jan 7: The Environment Protection Department of the City District Government of Lahore on Monday issued a notice to a shoe manufacturing unit for polluting environment.

According to EPD sources, the unit was operating in residential area of Shahdara without any environment management system, causing noise and vibration in the area.

On complaints, the EPD authorities issued directions to its owner to improve the environment condition and appear before a department team.—APP
