Justice Ejaz made Acting CJ of FSC

ISLAMABAD, Jan 14: The President on Tuesday appointed Justice Ejaz Yousaf, a Judge of the Federal Shariat Court, as Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court.

Justice Ijaz Yousaf, who hails from Balochistan, is the senior most of the three judges of the Federal Shariat Court.

Justice Khan Riazuddin Ahmed administered the oath of the Acting Chief Justice to Justice Ejaz Yousaf in the Federal Shariat Court premises here on Tuesday.

Justice Dr Fida Mohammad Khan, Judge of the Federal Shariat Court, Registrars of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Federal Shariat Court, Advocate-General of Balochistan, prominent lawyers of the Supreme Court and High Court and officers of the Federal Shariat Court attended the ceremony.
