ATTOCK, Jan 3: The scrutiny of nomination papers for the election of District  Bar Association (DBA), Attock  for 2013  was completed on Thursday. The elections will be held on January 12.

A three members DBA’s election board headed  by a senior lawyer  and ex- President DBA Rana Afasr Ali Khan advocate  scrutinised the nominations.

After the scrutiny, the chairman election board Rana  Afsar advocate  told Dawn that nominations of  presidential candidates Syed Azmat Ali Bukhari advocate and Syed Ahmed Saeed advocate  were declared valid.

Haji Muhammad Bukhtiar Ahmed Khan advocate    and Sardar Abdul Rasheed Khan advocate   are in the run for the slot of vice-president.

Mohammad Israr Khattak and Raja Aftab Ahmed advocate would contest for the seat of secretary.

Moreover, Sajjad Ahmed  advocate  and Irfan Azeem advocate are in for the post of joint secretary and Malik Sajjad Ahmed Rafique and Malik Ahmed Khan are in the run for the post of finance secretary.
