JEDDAH, Jan 1: As a part of public diplomacy and to highlight the rich Islamic heritage of Pakistan in English-speaking and Arab world the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah has published a coffee table calligraphic book titled Allama Bil Qalam.
The book contains photographs of Pakistani calligraphy, paintings of Islamic architecture, miniature art and traditional furniture depicting the rich Islamic traditions. Experts on Islamic calligraphy and architecture Asani of Harvard University and Sheila Canby of Metropolitan Museum endorsed the book with their comments.
