RAWALPINDI, Dec 30: Official vehicle of Governor Gilgit-Baltistan and three other vehicles were burnt, after a fire broke out in an auto workshop, near Mareer Chowk, on Sunday. However, nobody was reported burnt or injured in the fire.

The fire erupted in the early hours of Sunday and engulfed four vehicles, including the Land Cruiser of governor Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Pir Karam Ali Shah. The fire also damaged another auto workshop in the neighbourhood.

Shortly after the fire broke out, thick clouds of black smoke could be seen in the area from a distance; however, firefighters from emergency services rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire. It took firefighters more that two hours to control the fire.
