SARGODHA, Jan 12: Tehsil Nazim Rana Munawar Ghaus expressed his dismay over the interference by an ex-MPA in the politics of Sillanwali Tehsil Council, alleging that he was taking revenge of his son’s defeat in the general election.

In his press statement, he alleged that former MPA Chaudhry Farrukh Javed Ghuman was creating a law and order situation in the tehsil.

He blamed that the Sillanwali DSP was also supporting the former minister who was reported to be a relative of the Punjab Chief Minister. He claimed that the Saturday’s tehsil council meeting was adjourned for indefinite period on the request of the members to avoid any untoward incident.

Categorically denying the tabling of a no-confidence motion against him, he said the former MPA had hijacked 10 members while four others were forced on gunpoint to support them.
