ISLAMABAD, Dec 19: As many as 27 officials of federal police promoted to next ranks on Wednesday. According to police spokesman, meeting of promotion committee, chaired by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Dr Sultan Azam Temuri, was held in Police Lines, Islamabad. The meeting gave its assent to the promotion of five sub-inspectors (SIs), eight assistant sub inspectors (ASIs) and 14 head constables to next ranks. —A Reporter
