Perks for army generals

I QUOTE from a report which appeared recently in The Washington Post.

“The Pentagon announced Friday that it will examine whether its generals and admirals receive too many perks and said that they should receive more ethics training earlier in their careers. Dempsey also recommended that the joint chiefs take a closer look at the staffing support, travel privileges and other prerequisites provided to senior officers.

“By the time commanders achieve four-star rank, they often travel in corporate- style jets, with their own cooks, drivers and dozens of aides who perform personal errands.”

General and other personnel of the armed forces of Pakistan deserves the same treatment or better as they are the guards of our frontiers and even internal security and calamity situations. Pak Fouj Zindabad.

yeh well who is guarding us against drones, daily bombings from 2001 onwards. Besides name one war Pakistan has won? They are more of a calamity themselves than protecting the poor people from calamities....

Pakistan's Generals have deprived their country the greatest gift Mr M.A Jinnah provided by robbing the democracy from its people and raising the false bogey of Indian threat.This worse than all the money they stole from country and kept all democratic institutions in incubator.The prime example is how gen Musharraf is living and how he tried to prevent ms Bhutto from entering country. and contest elections.As Winston Churchill said Democracy is the worst form of Govt but the alternatives are far worse.

we lost every single war to India even prisonered 95000 soldiers in 1971 the biggest surrender in the human history i believe, lost half of our country......the only thing our army is good at is taking away almost 60% of budget and suppressing its own people, it is most incompetitive and non professional army ever existed on this planet earth.
