KARACHI: 28 vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Jan 11: A young man committed suicide in his Kalakot house on Saturday.

The young man killed himself by consuming acid, police said.

Quoting the family of the dead man, police said that Mehboob Bakhsh, aged 22, a drug addict, was fed up with life.

CARJACKING: Twenty-eight vehicles — 11 cars and 17 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, police sources said.

Bandits hijacked a government vehicle in Samanabad police limits.

Four cars were hijacked. Six others were stolen in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Ferozabad, Saddar, Clifton and other areas.

Six motorcycles were hijacked. Eleven others were stolen.
