ISLAMABAD Dec 15: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that no government in the past had carried as much development work as the PPP-led coalition government.

He said this while addressing notables from Gujar Khan, at the Prime Minister House, on Saturday.

Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the development work carried out by the government had no parallel in the past.

He said that supportive price of wheat yielded positive results and Pakistan not only became self-sufficient in the production of grain but also stands in the line of wheat exporters.

He said that false propaganda against PPP government has been a dilemma not just for the PPP but for other popular political parties as well.

He taunted journalists by saying that they (journalists) continue to ‘teach’ us politics on television channels. “They must know that we are not inept and we are going to complete our term through real politics,” remarked the prime minister.

He said: “Judiciary was free and independent  and working with absolute independence, while media was also completely free.”
