KARACHI: Road safety week from 16th

Published January 11, 2003

KARACHI, Jan 10: As part of its behavioural change programme for drivers and vehicle/motorbike owners, Shell is launching a road safety week from Jan 16 during which training programmes will be held to develop a particular mindset for safe driving.

Hundreds of people are killed in road accidents every year and the number of those injured is in the thousands.

Road accidents can be prevented if drivers are properly trained and traffic rules are followed. A road safety training programme will be arranged for the members of the Karachi Press Club on Jan 15 at 12pm in the Ibrahim Jalees Hall of the KPC.—APP
