National Assembly Standing Committee on Human Rights, expressed displeasure over failure of health projects — HIV/Aids, tuberculosis (TB), malaria, polio and hepatitis — all funded through international financing.

On Thursday the Committee called the newly formed Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (MoIPC) for answers to reasons for the increase in health problems, throughout the country.

“This Committee cannot understand why the projects have failed to deliver, when 95 per cent of funding for these projects comes from foreign aid?”
