KARACHI, Dec 4: The chief of his own faction of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said that his party will make seat adjustments with the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional in Sindh during the upcoming general elections.

He stated this following his meeting with PML-F chief Pir Pagara at his residence on Tuesday. They discussed overall political situation in the country with a specific reference to Sindh.

Later, he told newsmen that the JUI and the PML-F would jointly contest elections in Sindh.

About a Muttahida Qaumi Movement plan to hold an Ulema convention, the JUI-F chief advised MQM chief Altaf Hussain to return to Pakistan and use his resources for the people of the country.

On the occasion, Pir Pagara said that he had a very good relation with the JUI-F chief and it would be further strengthened.
