KARACHI, Jan 9: The local leaders of the Jamat-i-Islami (JI) have urged the voters of the Orangi Town to cast votes for the candidate of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), Dr Mairjaul Hudda Siddiqui, in the by- elections on Jan 15.

At the election campaign meetings, they said the people of the area wanted to live a peaceful life and they would reject the people involved in extortion.

They said that the MMA had provided an alternative leadership to the nation and they would help solve their problems.—APP
