BANNU, Nov 29: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hassan has said that some elements in the country pose a threat to Pakistan’s nuclear programme.
Speaking at ‘Islami Inqilab Rally’ at Jinnah Sport Complex here on Thursday, the JI chief alleged that conspiracies were being hatched to destabilise Pakistan and accomplish agenda of America and its allies through Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
JI central leader Sirajul Haq, provincial amir Prof Mohammad Ibrahim and Bannu district amir Mufti Sifatullah also spoke on the occasion.
Mr Hassan said that the nation should unite to frustrate nefarious designs of anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan forces. He urged people to use the prevailing situation for a big change to steer the country out of present turmoil. He called upon people to vote for JI in coming general election if they wanted positive change in their lives.
