QUETTA, Nov 29: A woman kidnapped a child from a hospital here on Thursday.
According to police, a couple from Pishin district visited Lady Dufferin Hospital for a check-up of their baby who was ill. Abdul Malik Mehtarzai went out to buy some food leaving his wife and baby there.
After some time when the child started crying an unknown woman came to his mother and said she had come to take the child for medical examination.
“The woman took away my boy and did not return. We started looking for the woman in the premises, but could not find her and our baby,” Mr Mehtarzai said in the complaint he lodged with police.
