Gurdawaras renovated

NANKANA SAHIB, Nov 23: The Evacuee Trust Property Board has completed renovation of seven gurdawaras which were built in the memory of Baba Guru Nanak.

Arrangements are also being made to provide better facilities to Sikh pilgrims who will arrive here to celebrate the 532th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. Ceremonies will commence here at Gurdawara Janam Asthan on Nov 27.

More than 3,000 Sikh pilgrims from India will arrive Pakistan on Nov 27 on a 10-day visit. They will also visit Sucha Sauda, Hasan Abdal and Lahore.

Sikh pilgrims from Iran, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Uganda, Afghanistan, America and Canada will also take part in the celebrations.—APP
