LAHORE, Nov 20: Ayesha Ahad Malik, daughter of PML-Q leader Abdul Ahad Malik, says she will contest upcoming general election against PML-N MNA Hamza Shahbaz.

Talking to newsmen after court proceedings here on Tuesday, Ms Malik, who claims to be wife of Hamza, said she would soon disclose the faces of ‘so-called honest’ people. She alleged her life was still in danger at the hands of Hamza and his men.

She appealed to the authorities concerned to protect her.

Meanwhile, a Lahore High Court division bench dismissed a petition seeking insertion of Section 365-A of the Pakistan Penal Code in a case already registered against Ayesha Malik

The case was registered by Defence-A police under Section 365 of PPC on the complaint of a Filipino, Lory Pimental, accusing Ms Malik of kidnapping her son, Joseph, following a dispute of a maid.

Complainant Lory had filed the petition and prayed that Section 365-A of PPC should be added to the FIR so that trial of the accused (Ms Malik) could be carried out by a special court of anti-terrorism.

The division bench, headed by Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, dismissed the petition.
