I WANT to highlight an important educational problem faced by the private candidates who are taking graduate examinations from the Federal Urdu University, Karachi.

Due to the severe negligence of the authorities concerned of this university, a number of private candidates may waste a precious educational year due to too much delay in examinations (eight months) and for the announcement of results (after eight months of holding of exams) due to which these students will be unable to get admission in the master’s programme. This clearly shows the mismanagement of the authorities concerned.

This is a huge injustice against private candidates which creates psychological stress among a lot of students. On the other hand, University of Karachi is conducting private exams successfully on time every year.

I request the authorities concerned to stop playing with the future of these students and conduct exams on time. Students are the future of this country, so any sort of discrimination in this regard is clearly unfair.
