Smuggling bid foiled

RAWALPINDI, Nov 17: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Dammam and arrested a person from Benazir Bhutto airport, here on Saturday.

On a tip-off, the ANF launched a drive and arrested Mohammad Abdullah, a resident of Sargodha, who was leaving for Dammam via Shaheen Airlines flight No NL-719.

The 2kg heroin was found concealed in his luggage.

A case has been registered against the smuggler.

He has been shifted to the ANF headquarters for further interrogation.—A Reporter
